I left out the "A" by mistake. It is actually spelled Filamonroe on the origional land grant maps (also called Foster's Croft at one time). I have found a photo online for the Catholic church that was used in Waterford, I have read that this church was built around 1910. Before this date the church at Philamunroe was used; it was being used in 1862 as it was shown on Wallings 1862 map. I do not know if the old bulding was still standing after the community died. If it was I was hoping somebody may have a photo of it.
I think it was the Waterford location that was sold to the ski club because it was located near Poly Mountain.
