the Mckinnons and Mcgregors are mentioned in Dorothy Arbuckle's the early settlers of the northwest Miramichi along with my ancestor Francis Russell born abt 1760 in scotland. It seems likely that the 2 families were interconnected but you would have to look at the book to see..if you run across any info on francis I would appreciate hearing of it I know a lot just not wehre in scotland he was born or who his parent's were,
