Yes, my maiden name is Ducett. Lucy and George are my great, great-grandparents. My dad was born in Harvey, and we live about 100 miles from there now, closer to Wisconsin.

Family lore says George (a carpenter) got work at the World's Columbia Expo in south Chicago, after living in Michigan briefly (my great grandfather, Ernest George, was born in Lansing, MI), and Wisconsin. They used lumber after the fair to build a house (not sure if that last part is true or not). He also had work in Peoria, IL and helped build a theater. Supposedly one of the sculptors used a Ducett baby as a model for cupid statuary.

I have copies of records and such from their church in NB, and some pictures of Lucy. I'll try to message you some stuff later tonight.
