Danny Johnson went through New Brunswick area newspapers between 1784 and 1897 and published a number of volumes of the vital statistics that were published in them. They now can be accessed on http://archives.gnb.ca/ If you go to Search, at the bottom are the newspaper vital stats. An amazing amount of work went into it, and it has pointed me in the direction of MANY of the family members I am researching.
