YEO, JOHN BOYD - The death of John B. Yeo of Saint John ,NB, husband of the late Hazel (Stilwell) Yeo occurred on March 16, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 5, 1937, he was the son of the late Maurice and Erdine (Murchasin) Yeo. John was employed as a truck driver and heavy machinery operator. He is survived by two sons Robert (Tayna) Yeo of Halifax NS and Michael Yeo of Nanamino, BC; a daughter Kathy Sproul (Martin Hutchings) of Halifax NS: a sister Rose Gateley of Ontario; a grandson Robert Yeo and a granddaughter, Jessica Sproul. Besides his parents John was predeceased by a grandson David Sproul. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) from were the funeral will be held on Thursday with service at 2 pm. Visiting from 1 pm till service time. It is with profound sadness that I announce the sudden passing of my mother and best friend Kathy Daigle on Friday, July 3, 2009. Born in Saint John, NB, on July 19, 1945 she was a daughter of the late John and Kathleen Stilwell. Mom was an RN for 28 years working at the Saint John General Hospital. After an early retirement in 1993 from the Saint John Regional Hospital, mom continued to work at many different Seniors Homes around the city just to keep busy. She is survived by her two children, daughter, Lenna (Gordon) Rackley of Hampton, NB and son Tommy (Sandy) Pitre of Nanaimo, BC; four grandchildren who were her pride and joy and loved dearly, Catlin Rackley, Arin Rackley and Ashley Rackley all in Hampton, NB, and the newest sparkle in her eyes, Riley Pitre of Nanaimo, BC, even though she did not get a chance to meet you Riley she loved you very much; and several nieces and nephews. Mom is the last surviving member of her family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother, John Stilwell; four sisters, Hazel Yeo, Marg MacKenzie, Dorothy McHarg and Lois Adams, and her Daddy O, brother-in-law John Yeo, March 2009. Heaven will never be the same now that mom and Hazel are back together, look out John you have your hands full again.

STILWELL, JOHN C. - The death of John Charles Stilwell, formerly of Stephenson Towers, occurred on Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Lodge. Born in Saint John he was a son of the late John and Kathleen (Day) Stilwell. John was employed with the Atlantic Sugar Refinery as an elevator operator. He is survived by sister: Kathleen Daigle of Saint John; and the light of his eyes, Catlin, Arin and Ashley Rackley, special niece Lenna (Gordon) Rackley of Hampton; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers: Ronnie, Lloyd and Alan, sisters, Hazel Yeo, Marjorie MacKenzie, Dorothy McHarg and Lois Adams, aunt Elsie McBeth and special friend Doris Cameron. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday, April 10, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. MCHARG, DOROTHY H.- The death of Dorothy Helen (Stilwell) McHarg, wife of James "Jim" McHarg, 54 years old, of 91 Sproul Road, Saint John, occurred on Thursday, November 7, 2002, at her home with family and friends beside her. Dorothy was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late John C. and Kathleen G. (Day) Stilwell. She worked at Peggy's Beauty Salon in the north end for a number of years, before opening her own beauty parlour in Regency Towers. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie, two half-brothers, Allan and Lloyd Stillwell, and two sisters, Marjorie McKenzie and Hazel Yeo. Besides her husband, Jim, she is survived by her son, J. Daniel McHarg (Angelia) of Hampton, and two daughters, Allison (Mike) Brideau of Fredericton, and Vicki (Paul) Ganong of Saint John, two sisters, Lois (Doug) Adams of Winnipeg, and Kathleen Daigle of Saint John, and one brother, John Stillwell of Saint John, five granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy loved doing her crafts, bowling, and yard sales, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2002 at 10:00 AM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
