I have extensive record of my Charles A. Candage (1851-1912) of Maine, except for a few years when he was in Canada. He was of Rockland ME SEP 1878, not found in the US 1880 census, and found with his brother Byron’s family in Queens Ward in the 1881 census there. They were both listed as house joiners, Baptists, and of Scottish descent. They were back in Rockland ME in 1882.

Are there any directories or other places in which I might find them 1878-1882??

Thank you so much.
