Classification: Query
Joseph (b. 25JAN1874) and Annie (b. 26JUN1877) ‘Parish’ lived in Drummond Parish, Victoria Co., NB in 1901. With them was his father, Joseph ‘Parish Sen,’ (b. 4MAY1810.) It is possible that Joseph, Sr. was the same who m. Agnes Sykes and had a son, Frank Gilman Paris, b. Victoria Co., NB 11FEB1877. It is possibly that Joseph and Annie lived in Tilley, Victoria Co., NB as a child, Raymond Paris, d. in infancy there 11AUG1911.
In Victoria Co., in 1901, were numerous Lovely’s, particularly in the Perth area. Amongst these was Annie E. Lovely (20SEP1872), d/o ‘Ransford’ and Georgiann Lovely.
In 1881, there was Annie Lovely b. ca. 1871, d/o George and Amelia (Stickney) Lovely in Peel Parish, Carleton Co., NB. A brother was Rainsford Lovely (b. ca. 1865.) In Perth Parish, Victoria Co., NB was Anna Lovely b. ca. 1877, d/o George (b. ca. 1843) and Sarah (b. ca. 1856) Lovely. Siblings were Henry (ca. 1879) and William (b. SEP1880.) Also in Perth Parish was Annie Lovely (b. ca. 1873) d/o ’Ruinsford’ and Georgianna Lovely. The one most likely to have m. Joseph Paris is the d/o George and Sarah.
George and Sarah (Hitchcock) Lovely had a son, Harry Lovely, b. Tobique Narrows, Victoria Co., NB 12JUN1893. Another son, Henry Lovely, was b. Tobique Narrows, Victoria Co., NB 25JUN1878. Another son, George Lovely, was b. ca. FEB1884, and d. Pokiok, Victoria Co., NB 12SEP1886 age 2 years and 7 months. George Lovely d. Victoria Co., NB 6AUG1933. A daughter was Helen Agnes Lovely m. ____ Hanscom. See:

A response tells that George William Lovely b. Victoria Co., NB 4JAN1847 (or 1APR1847), was the s/o Thomas and Mary Ann (Everett) Lovely. He and Sarah Hitchcock were m. 12JUL1858 (or 7DEC1858.)
The 1901 census of Perth Parish gives George Lovely as b. 1MAY1850 and his wife, Sarah J., as b. 12JUL1858. Children were: ‘Henery’ (10SEP1878), Hattie (27MAY1875) and Harry (12JUN1893.) It should be noted that the dates-of-birth in the 1901 census are unreliable; although the one for Sarah J. may be accurate.
In 1911, George Lovely (b. 1848) and Sarah (b. JUN1858) lived near William (b. AUG1860) Lovely and William’s family in Gladwyn, on the Tobique River,. Victoria Co., NB . Presumably George and William were brothers. George and Sarah’s children were: Henry (SEP1883) and Harry (JUN1894.) They seem to have used the names, Harry and Henry, separately; and often.
In the IGI there is Sarah Hitchcock b. Perth-Andover, Victoria Co., NB 9JUN1858, bpt. 15MAY1871, was the d/o Robert and Elizabeth Ann (Murphy) Hitchcock. (Note that, while Perth and Andover are one place, Perth-Andover, now; at that time they were likely separate communities across the River Saint John from each other.)

It would appear to be that Annie’s parents were:

George William Lovely b. Victoria Co., NB 1MAY1850 (ca. 1843, 1848, 4JAN1847, etc.), s/o Thomas and Mary Ann (Everett) Lovely.
Sarah J. Hitchcock b. Perth-Andover, Victoria Co., NB 9JUN1858, bpt. 15MAY1871, d/o Robert and Elizabeth Ann (Murphy) Hitchcock.
