I cannot wholly attest to the correctness of the following.

Samuel H. Boone was the son of Samuel and Katherine (Kate) (DeWitt) Boone.

Thomas

28. SAMUEL H. BOONE b. (Saint John, Saint John Co., NB?) 11NOV1798, bpt. 2FEB1801, d. Blissville Parish, Sunbury Co., NB 13MAY1855 age 57 years, bur. Pioneer - Fredericton Junction Cem., Sunbury Co., NB, m. 15OCT1831 HANNAH (ANN) TRACY (b. Sunbury Co., NB 22JUL1813, d. 25SEP1871 (1876 on headstone), bur. Pioneer - Fredericton Junction Cem., Sunbury Co., NB), d/o Jonathan and Rachel (Webb) Tracy.
When Samuel died, he left a wife and five children.
In Blissville Parish, Sunbury Co., NB in the 1851 census as:

Boone Samuel M Head 51 farmer Birth
Boone Hannah F Wife 38
Boone John E M Son 19
Boone Richardson M Son 16
Boone James M Son 13
Boone Rachel F Daughter 8

Children:
281. JOHN EDWARD BOONE b. Fredericton Junction, Sunbury Co., NB 26JAN1832, d. Fredericton, York Co., NB 27MAY1903 age 71 years, m. 1st 30MAR1854 SARAH JANE TRACY (b. ca. 1838), d/o Jonathan and Rosanna (Cronkhite?) Tracy; m. 2nd Free Baptist Parsonage, Fredericton, York Co., NB by the Rev. Joseph McLeod 2JAN1872 ALBINA SMITH (b. ca. 1854.)

When married the 2nd time, John E. was of Fredericton, and Albina of Kingsclear. There appears to have been some dissension in the marriage as, 23JAN1878, John placed in a newspaper the notice:
When married, John was of Blissville Parish, Sunbury Co., NB and Sarah Ann was from Wakefield Parish, Carleton Co., NB. This likely makes her to be Sarah Tracey (13), d/o a widow, Rosanna Tracey (39), in Wakefield Parish in 1851. Rosanna was newly widowed as a son, Jonathan, was age 1 year. Rosanna's husband appears to have been Jonathan Tracey who d. 1APR1850 age 46 years and is buried in Jacksontown, Carleton Co., NB.
Rosanna Tracey b. ca. 1812 appears to have been Mrs. Jonathan Tracy who d. Cronk Settlement, Carleton Co., NB 22NOV1855 age 33 years, d/o of the "late Elder Cronkhite". The dates do not match but the circumstances do. At a guess, Sarah was the d/o Jonathan and Rosanna (Cronkhite) Tracey.

"As Albina BOON, my wife, has left my bed and board without any just cause, I hereby give notice that I will not hereafter become responsible for any debts she may contract. (sgd) John E. BOON, Fredericton, 23rd Jan. 1878"

They appear to have reconciled as, in the 1881 census of Carleton Ward. Fredericton, York Co., NB, John 'C.' Boone (age 49) is a mail contractor, with his wife, Albina (age 27.)
John may have been married before as John E. Boone of Blissville, Sunbury Co., NB m. 30MAR1854 SARAH JANE TRACY of Wakefield Parish, Carleton Co., NB.
She may have been Jane Tracey, b. ca. 1833, d/o Solomon and Anne Tracey of Wakefield Parish, Carleton Co., NB in 1851. There was also a widow, Rosanna Tracey, with a daughter, Sarah, b. ca. 1838. Brothers were Jarvis, William, Elisha, Judson and Jonathan. Elisha D. Tracey is given as a s/o Jonathan and Rosannah Tracey. Sarah b. ca. 1838 is given as the wife of John E. Sarah is also given as a d/o Bedford Tracy. Bedford Tracy is given as m. Wakefield Parish, York Co., NB 7JUL1831 Sophia Mills. Carleton Co., at the time, was still part of York Co. Sophia Tracey, in Wakefield Parish, Carleton Co., NB in 1851, was age 37 years. Her daughter, b. ca. 1838, is given as Sophia Tracey as well. It would seem to me that Sarah Jane Tracy of Wakefield Parish, particularly if she was b. ca. 1838, would be the Sarah b. ca. 1838 not the Sophia b. ca. 1838. Especially as Sophia m. 24DEC1853 Benjamin Thomas.
John drove the stage between Fredericton and Woodstock.
In 1881, in Carleton Ward, Fredericton, John E. Boone (John C. in transcription) is a mail contractor age 49. He was b. NB, F. Baptist and Dutch. the 'Dutch' may refer to his mother's origins. Albina (27) was also b. NB and F. Baptist, and English. If you compare the 'E' in 'English' with the middle initial of John's name, you can see that it is also 'E', not 'C'.
There was, in 1891, in Wellington Ward, Fredericton, a 'Jhonathan Boon', age 38 years with a wife, Albina (27) and a son, William (6.) Jonathan was a carpenter, both were Free Will Baptists and both were b. NB as were their parents. This would seem to be the same family except their ages are not compatible. Otherwise I do not seem them in 1891 nor in 1901. The couple in 1891 is likely Jonathan S. Boone and Albina Dunphy (Dumphy?). Jonathan S. Boone is most likely Jonathan Sylvester Boone [L81] (b. 1859.)
John Boone was a pauper when he died at the home of Joshua Duplisea APR1896, leaving a wife and several sons and daughters. This appears to be John Boone b. ca. 1818, d. Tracey Station, Sunbury Co., NB 15APR1896 age 78 years. This would appear to have been John B. Boone [262], John's cousin.
Children:
2811. SAMUEL K. BOONE b. 5MAR1855, m. (or he d. 1880?) 2AUG1880 MARY (MINNIE) GRAY (b. 7FEB or 2JUL1861.)
Moved to Skowhegan, Aroostook Co., ME. They were probably Samuel (26) and Mary (19) 'Boore' in Woodstock Parish, Carleton Co., NB in 1881.
Children:
28111. GUY TRACY BOONE
28112. JOHN FERRIS BOONE
28113. CLARENCE BEDFORD BOONE
28114. child (twin)
28115. child (twin)
2812. BEDFORD O. BOONE b. ca. 1860, m. at the home of E. Chandler, Houlton, Aroostook Co., ME by the Rev. A. A. Lewis 12JUL1881 HATTIE C. McILROY (b. NB ca. 1862) d/o Gerow and Margaret (McLean) McElroy.
Bedford was a carpenter and moved to Boston, MA. When married, he lived in Woodstock. In 1880, he was given as Bedford C. Boone, age 20, a carpenter, b. NB, parents b. NB. He boarded with DeLancey (ca. 1846) and Florence McIlroy. There many other boarders, including three other McIlroy's, one of whom was a niece, the other two given as 'Other'. One of these latter was Hattie C. McIlroy, age 18. Presumably Hattie and DeLancey were siblings.
Benton, NB, where Hattie was from, appears to have been in Woodstock Parish, Carleton County. DeLancey (ca. 1846) and Florence (ca. 1851) McElroy were there in 1871. There were also an Allan McElroy (ca. 1827) and his wife, Susan A. (ca. 1837) with a daughter, Hannah (ca. 1863.) However, Hattie was more likely Hettie McElroy (ca. 1862), d/o Gerow (ca. 1821) and Margaret (ca. 1822) McElroy, particularly as Delancy (ca. 1846) and Florence (ca. 1851) McElroy are listed twice in this census with this family. Florence's maiden name is more than usually scramble as "McAnarlin" in a marriage notice. 'McElroy' appears to be the preferred spelling, although 'McIlroy' is given only slightly less often. he gets her forename from John and Catherine (Gerow) Yerxa, whose daughter, Hannah Yerxa, m. John McIlroy or McElroy and was Gerow's mother.

2813. MELISSA BOONE.
Melissa died as a young woman.
2814. BARBARA BOONE,
Barbara was burnt to death at the age of four years.
282. RICHARDSON BOONE, JP b. Gladstone Parish, Sunbury Co., NB 3SEP1834 (ca. 1835), d. Westmorland St., Fredericton, York Co., NB 11SEP1928 age 94 years, buried Fredericton Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, York Co., NB, m. 1st at her father's house, Burton Parish, Sunbury Co., NB by the Rev. H. McKeown 29JUL1858 ANNIS (ANNA, ANNE, ANNAS) SKIDMORE SHIRLEY (b. MAY1832 (23SEP1834), d. Fredericton, NB 13NOV1887 age 55 years), 3rd d/o John and Frances Louisa (Brown) Shirley; at the residence of Mrs. B. Jones, Fredericton, York Co., NB by the Rev. F. C. Hartley 1JAN1894 MARIA S. ALEXANDER (b. Gladstone Parish, Sunbury Co., NB 14FEB1849 (11FEB1850 in 1901), d. 171 Westmorland St., Fredericton, York Co., NB 30AUG1933 age 84 years, 6 months and 6 days, buried Fredericton Junction, Sunbury Co., NB), d/o Joseph and Elizabeth Ann (Shirley) Alexander.
When 1st married, Richardson was of Blissville Parish. He was a Justice of the Peace.
In 1881, in St. Ann Ward, Fredericton, York Co., NB, Richardson 'Boom' was a policeman, age 48, with a wife, Annie, also age 48. Children were: Sherman W. (21), Iva M. (18) and Ella J. (15.) Also in the household were dressmakers, 'Marriah Alexandra' (31) and 'Iola Mieca MC Quorquin' (26.)
In St. Anne's Ward, Fredericton, York Co., NB in 1901, Richardson 'Borne' (Boone), age 55, was a widower and carpenter lodging with George N. Golding and family. In Douglas Parish, York Co., NB, was Richardson Boon (45) [L54] and family. He was a farmer and married, but his wife is not listed. The first appears to have been this Richardson Boone.
In St. Anne's Ward, Fredericton, York Co., NB in 1901.
A son may be Dr. Richardson Boone, MD who lived in Presque Isle, Aroostook Co., ME. If so, then two other children would be Dr. S. W. Boone and his sister, Ella J. Boone., Ella J. Boone m. at the residence of Dr. Sherman W. Boone in Presque Isle, Aroostook Co., ME by the Rev. J. C. Hall 29OCT1889 Dr. H. D. Currie. Ella was a d/o Richardson Boone of Fredericton, NB. Sherman graduated with a BA from the University of New Brunswick in 1883, studied medicine at McGill University in Montreal, and was in his 3rd year in 1885. he graduated with an MD in 1887. He practiced in Presque Isle, Aroostook Co., Maine.
This would make another daughter to be Ida Boone (eldest daughter), who m. at her father's residence, Brunswick St., Fredericton, York Co., NB by the Rev. Joseph McLeod 12MAY1886 Albert Hagerman. Ida was attended by sister, Ella Boone, and her groom was attended by Ella's cousin, Elsor Boone.
Another son, Saunders Boone (3rd son), d. ca. JUL1896
Richardson H. Boone d. York Co., NB 11SEP1928.

A work, "New England Families, Genealogical and Memorial: A Record of the ...", by William Richard Cutter is cited as having:

"Richardson Boone, son of Samuel Boone, was born in Sunbury county, New- Brunswick, September 3, 1834. He has been a justice of the peace in Fredericton for more than twenty years. In politics he is a Liberal. He is a member of the Free Baptist Church and of the Orangemen. He married Annis Skidmore Shirley, born at Oromocto, Sunbury county, New Brunswick, in May, 1832. died at Fredericton, November 13, 1887. She was a Free Baptist. John Shirley, her father, was born at Saco, Maine, 1807, died at Fredericton, 1878. In religion he was a Presbyterian. He married (first) Frances Webber, (second) Frances Brown, born in York county, died in Sunbury county."

This work also makes Richardson's 2nd wife the d/o Joseph and Elizabeth (Shirley) Alexander; where Elizabeth Shirley was his 1st wife's sister and Maria S. Alexander her niece.
Presumably the information in the above cited work came from Richardson's son, Dr. Sherman William Boone. He gave himself and siblings as:

"1. Sherman Willard, mentioned below. 2. Ida, b. May 8, 1862; married Albert Hagerman, of Keswick, New Brunswick, a lumberman; Children: Cornelius, Sherman and Ella Hagerman. 3. Ella, bom August 29, 1865; married H. D. Currie, of York county, New Brunswick, a dentist; she is living in Cambridge, Massachusetts; son, Austin Currie. 4. Lovinia, born 1866, d. aged eighteen months."

At this time I have also a son, Dr. Richardson Boone, MD and a son, Saunders Boone b. ca. JUL1896. In light of the above, these may be removed or placed elsewhere. In particular, Dr. Richardson Boone probably should read Dr. Sherman W. Boone, son of Richardson Boone.

Children:
2822. Dr. SHERMAN WILLARD BOONE, MD b. ca. 1860, m. Keswick, Douglas Parish, York Co., NB 15FEB1888 ELIZABETH BIRD (b. Keswick, Douglas Parish, York Co., NB 17SEP1872), d/o Frank and Harriet (Yerxa) Bird.
When married, Sherman lived in Caribou, ME and Elizabeth in Smith's Corner, Keswick, York Co., NB. Sherman received his MD MAR1887 from McGill University with high honours. His third year was somewhat hindered by a 'mild' attack of smallpox. He first practiced at Smith's Corners after graduating but, within a years, was in Maine returning only to get married to Elizabeth whom he likely met while he was in the vicinity. By 1892 he was in Presque Isle, Aroostook Co., ME.
2823. IDA M. BOONE b. 8MAY1862 (ca. 1863), m. at her father's residence, Brunswick St., Fredericton, York Co., NB by the Rev. Joseph McLeod 12MAY1886 ALBERT HAGERMAN
2824. ELLA J. BOONE b. 29AUG1865 (ca. 1866), m. at the residence of Dr. Sherman W. Boone in Presque Isle, Aroostook Co., ME by the Rev. J. C. Hall 29OCT1889 Dr. H. D. CURRIE
2825. LOVINIA BOONE b. 1866, d. age 18 months
2826. SAUNDERS BOONE, d. ca. JUL1896
283. JAMES (JONAS) BOONE b. ca. 1838, m. EMELINE (EMILY) A. MOTT (b. 7APR1847 (ca. 1845-6, 1847 on headstone), d. York Co., NB 28FEB1920 age 72 years and 10 months, buried Fredericton Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, York Co., NB; m. 2nd York Co., NB 13JUN1889 James Burden (b. 1838, d. 1913; m. 1st Eliza Ann _____), s/o Oliver E. and Hannah Augusta (Elizabeth?) Burden), d/o Charles Edward and Esther Amelia (E., Emeline?) (Mersereau) Mott.
Emeline A. Burden, in her death record, is given as b. Nova Scotia 1848. Her father was from Nova Scotia but the Mersereau's I believe were already in New Brunswick. There were 46 by that name in Blissville Parish, Sunbury Co., NB in 1851. There were other members of the Mott family in NB in 1851, notably in Wickham Parish, Queens Co., NB, and also a George (49) Mott in Blissville Parish, given as b. NB but I believe also from Novas Scotia. The Mott family by that time was numerous and widespread. It is possible that Charles came to Sunbury Co., returned to Nova Scotia for a time, and returned after Emeline was born. Charles and Esther do not appear in NB in what is left of the 1851 census. George Mott also had a son, Charles (1JAN1845-28NOV1922) whose death record states that George was b. NS, and this seems correct to me. Charles, Jr. was, himself, b. Sunbury Co., NB.
In 1881, Charles, Sr. was b. Nova Scotia. 'Ester' was b. NB as were the children with them at the time, including Daniel Mott (ca. 1847.) Next door were 'Laury'? (Lawrence) (89) and Isabella (90) Mersereau, both b. NB and likely Esther's parents. With Lawrence and Isabella (Hoyt) Mersereau in 1851 was John Mott (ca. 1840), a 'lodger', but presumably their grandson. Their daughter, Esther Amelia Mersereau, is given as m. Charles Edward Mott. Thus it appears likely, but not certain, that Emeline was born in New Brunswick.
284. RACHEL BOONE b. ca. 1843, m. ROBERT WATERS
285. CHARLES BOONEb. ca. 1845, m. VICTORIA _____.
That Charles married a Victoria may be a confusion with Charles E. Boone [2651] and Victoria Adelaide Carr [3416].
286. WILLIAM BOONE b. ca. 1850
287. HANNAH LAVINA BOONE b. 18OCT1852, d. North Branch, Oromocto, Sunbury Co., NB 9AUG1867 age 14 years, bur. Pioneer - Fredericton Junction Cem., Sunbury Co., NB
