Hi, Brenda.
As I mentioned above, I had a file that seems to have disappeared. Possibly saved onto an old disc. Some months ago, I attempted the beginnings of a larger, African file as some of these families seem to be connected to those I am interested in. The notes I have for the three families you mention are pasted in below. In would send it to you directly, but apparently your e-mail address is not available here, and one must pay a fee in order to get in touch. If you go to:
http://genforum.genealogy.com/canada/newbrunswick/
you should find one of my posts without mucxh trouble. By clicking on my name, in one of these postings, you should find a 'masked' version of my e-mail address, and be able to contacxt me directly. I would be particularly interested in anything you can add.

A ‘little colored girl’ died in small pox hospital in Saint John, NB 22OCT1879. Her mother and sister were still ill.
ELIZABETH DIAMOND b. 6FEB1868 (FEB1865 in 1911), d. Carleton Co., NB 27NOV1935, m. 1st Carleton Co., NB 1SEP1900 JAMES TRAMLEY (b. 10JUL1848, d. 27MAY1907 age 58 years, bur. They were in Brighton Parish, Carleton Co., NB in 1901 and with her 2nd husband in 1911.
Elizabeth may be Elizabeth DIAMOND b. ca. 1865, d/o John W. Diamond of St. Leonard, Madawaska Co., NB in 1881.
In 1880, Thomas lived with his parents in Lubec, Washington Co., ME. His father was b. Ireland and his mother was b. NB.
Elizabeth may be the Elizabeth DIAMOND b. ca. 1866, a domestic to Henry and Adelia Birmingham in Wakefield Parish, Carleton Co., NB in 1891. If so, she was b. NB as was her father, but her mother was b. PEI. This sort of suggests a connection to William DIAMOND b. PEI ca. 1843, parents b. England; but William and Eliza (b. ca. 1843) had a daughter, Lizzy (b. ca. 1881) as well as a son, William (b. ca. 1877) in the 1891 census of Woodstock.

JACOB DIAMOND, m. MATILDA WEARY (b. ca. 1856; m. 1st Douglas Parish Anglican Church, York Co., NB 25DEC1872 George Kendall), d/o David and Margaret (Gardiner) Weary.
Matilda, a widow, lived with David and Margaret ‘Wory’ (Weary/Wheary) in Bright Parish, York Co., NB in 1881; and may have been their daughter. In fact, this appears to be the case as George Kendle m. Douglas Parish Anglican Church, York Co., NB 25DEC1872 ‘Mahilda Werry’. George was of Queensbury Parish, and ‘Mahilda’ of Douglas Parish.
Her children by her first marriage were:
WINSLOW KENDAL b. ca. 1874
TRACY KENDALL b. ca. 1875

1. MARGARET LAVINIA DIAMOND b. Fredericton, York Co., NB 15MAR1886

That Ellen DuBois (DeBois?) was b. in England may be possible, but the ‘FB’ indicates she is female and of African descent. She apparently arrived in NB in 1860. That Hiram, also African, was b. NB seems reasonable, but that he was English seems difficult to accept. Both Ellen and Hiram are given as head-of-household.
In the 1871 census of Woodstock Henry DeBois, b. NB ca. 1811, is African and a carpenter. His wife, Ellen was b. England ca. 1836 and was said to be, “ . . . over 20 and unable to read or write”; and children were: Sarah A. (b. ca. 1859), Mary E. (b. ca. 1861), William H. (b. ca. 1862) and Randolph (b. ca. 1864.) Sarah A. is indicated as b. England, suggesting that Henry went to England, married and brought his wife and child home about 1859-60. The suggestion is that Martha was the d/o Henry and Ellen DeBois, but she does not appear with them in the 1871 or 1881 census, for example. In 1881, she appears to be the d/o Charles and Florence Godfrey. It is possible that Florence was a DeBois, possibly even Henry’s sister; thus Ellen DeBois was her aunt. In fact, Charles Godfrey’s death notice states he married ‘Miss DuBoice’.
Jacob H. Dymond b. 1858, d. 1912, bur. Methodist Cem., Carleton Co., NB, m. Free Baptist Parsonage, Houlton, Aroostook Co., ME by the Rev. J. E. Gosline 29NOV1890 Martha A. (or M.) Godfrey, d/o Charles Godfrey. Both were of Woodstock. A daughter was Miriam E. Dymond b. 1896, d. 1925, bur. Methodist Cem., Carleton Co., NB. Martha’s mother. Mrs. Godfrey, widow of the late Charles Godfrey, d. 20MAY1900 age 80 years. She left one daughter, Mrs. Jacob DIAMOND. (‘The Press’, 28MAY1900.) Charles Godfrey may be the same b. ca. 1806, living with James DeBois in Woodstock Parish, Carleton Co., NB in 1851. Thus Jacob H. and Hiram appear to be the same person.
In the same, 1901 census, nearby, was the household of Frederick (26AUG1836) and Sarah (13APR1846) DuBois. I suspect that Frederick was the brother of Ellen’s deceased husband. Frederick was a s/o James DeBois (b. ca. 1811), with whom Charles Godfrey lived in 1851. Also nearby were:

Sarah Winslow shares many of the bits of information that Ellen does, and seems to have been Ellen DuBois’ sister. That Sarah arrived in NB from England in 1859 only indicates that the arrival dates are approximations, and that the arrived ca. 1859-60. In 1881, in Woodstock, Alfred was Fairfax Winslow b. ca. 1846, Sarah was b. NB ca. 1859, and Alfred/Fairfax was the s/o Joseph Winslow (b. ca. 1813.)

Both were of Fredericton when married.

Ford is also indicated as Ford Blanchard Clark, s/o William Henry and Jane (Gordon) Clark; and that he changed his name.

In 1891, Richard was a hostler in Woodstock, Carleton Co., NB. He is given as b. NB, and parents b. England. Included in the family is a widow, Sarah DIAMOND b. ca. 1834. She is listed as ‘M’, under relationship, presumably for mother. She also was b. NB, with parents b. England; which is a bit confusing.
