Could anyone answer my query regarding moving and why. My ancestors moved to BC in the late 1800 or early 1900, the whole family, all Gosses, grown sons and daughters. They were fishermen in Conception Bay near Spaniards Bay. Did the BC goverment adverstise for settlers at that time. Was there some reason whey they would have moved enmass to BC at that time? Any help would do. Thanking you in advance. Anne Gosse
