Hi Linda,
I thought I would let you know that I think your idea that Hanora went back to New Foundland is probably correct. If they came to the US, my mother-in-law would definitely know about that. Also very interesting to note and pretty sad is that when William got married he named one of his children Alice and she died as an infant just like his sister. It was like the name was cursed in his family. When I checked what I had on him that was another reason I know we had the right person. I guess I'll have to look for Hanora and the daughters in Newfoundland. Although their records are not as good as Nova Scotia's. Oh well. Thanks again Linda. Take care.
