To those researching Lefrense of Isle-aux-morts and Rose Blanche and Burnt Island area (they lived around the three areas).
you can find lots of info here:
http://www.tribalpages.com/family-tree/vang594#LEFRESNE_and here (Prosper Lefrense was related to Anne Harvey who is well known and Anne Harvey Day is celebrated every year in Isle Aux Morts). Scroll down and you will find Prosper Lefrense and then you will have info for his ancestors before and after him

http://boigenealogy.com/familygroup.php?familyID=F30913&...Finally, there is alot of info from the Census you can find online now at
http://ngb.chebucto.org/In all the census research I did at the Archives from 1921 to today, I never found any other different spellings toehr than LeFrense which appears to have gotten misspelled at times as for LeFresne (this latter would be how I would have expected it to be written as a French surname). IN the above link you can search on all the different spellings however you think exist for the 1921, 1935 and 1945 Census records. Also birth cert, etc but not for all Nf areas on this site too
Hope this info is helpful
