Martha Hurdle was born in 1909 to Joseph and Jessie Hurdle in Dunfield. In 1929 she had a son, Joseph, with a man named James McGrath, I believe. I've been told that they were not allowed to marry because he was Catholic, and that she married another man. After the other man's death, I know she finally married James McGrath.
I don't know where he was from or who the other man she married was. Does anyone know anything about this?
