James Y Jennex and Clarice Benoit are my G G Great grandparents.
I have been trying to find out if Clarice was from labrador or from old labrador [Luenberg Nova scotia ].
I do know that in the early 1820's there was a Benoit mentioned in a topic of Bras D'or Indian's that a man had died and his wife and two Girls were in the care of his brother but she was trying to get to NL.
For some reason back then it seems women didn't seem to be recorded.I believe the man that died name was Andre.
If anyone has any info on Clarice it would be a great help to me .
