I think I know who your John Bennett(Benoit)Was.
I have A John W. Benoit Married to A Eva Olive ? from the Cow Bay area, with one daughter Rita Bride Benoit born 1932.
I have the parents of John W. Benoit his gggrandfather was Sabastien Benoit Sr.
I have also Eva Brophy's parents & grandparents.
I won't contact you direct, I'd rather share this info with everyone. Then maybe someone else can add to what I allready have.
