River, aged 36 according to 1901 census. He married at Bear River on 13 Aug 1890 Gertrude
WINCHESTER, born 4 Jul 1867 in Bear River, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth
WINCHESTER (DC-10). Onslow served overseas during the First World War and was a well
known builder. He died in Sep 1926. Gertrude married (2nd) Judson SPEARS of Bear River.
She died 2 Jul 1958. Onslow BERRY died 3 Sep 1926 aged 62 years, one month and 16 days in
Deep Brook (U88). He was a chef and in buried in Clementsport United Cemetery (U88).
In the Apr 1891 Census for Annapolis Co., Clements, Onslow BERRY was listed as
aged 26, born in N.S., parents born in N.S., a Methodist and a farmer living with his father (1891
26G, p.4, l.5). His wife Gertrude was listed as aged 24, born in N.S., parents born in N.S., a
Methodist (1891 26G, p.4, l.6).
In the 1901 census for Clementsport, Power Lot area, Alonzo BERRY was listed as
born 18 Jul 1864 in N.S., aged 36, a Baptist and a farmer (1901 26G, p.12, l.15). His wife
Gertrude was listed as born 4 Jul 1867 in N.S., aged 33, a Methodist (1901 26G, p.12, l.16).
