I have been reading the messages on this Message Board and am curious....has anyone come across a Leonard Seaman, father of John Micheal Seaman in their research. Leonard is my GGGrandfather on my Father's side and I have been unable to back any further than Leonard. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

As for Seaman connections in Ontario, there are quite a few Seaman records in the Brockville Museum, all descendants of Capt. Caleb Seaman of N.Y., U.E.L. The house built by the Seaman family in Brockville, Ont. is still standing on the main street and is currently occupied. It was the location for Caleb Seaman's Blacksmith shop.

I look forward to communicating with anyone who might have a lead for me and am willing to share the info I have gotten from the Brockville Museum.
