If you check the New Brunswick Archives, you'll find the birth registrations for George Raymond and William Peter Montgomery,in St John, sons of Nellie ( Frances Ellen) and Peter Montgomery..Nellie is the informant on the birth registrations of her sons, and she is now Mrs Cairnes..The registration date is December 1940 and Nellie is living in St John..Her husband was one Archibald Cairnes, whom she married on 3 Sept 1928 in St John. She was listed as widow and her surname at this time was McCumber. source:(PANB) Nellie died in Saint John on 15 Dec 1950 and her death cert. can be found on the NB archives.. She died as Cairnes. Son George Montgomery was the informant of her death and she was buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Saint John. It's possible I suppose that her first husband Peter may also be buried there. Penny
