...A very pretty wedding took place on New Year's Day at the St. John's Methodist parsonage, Winnipeg, when Miss Elizabeth L. HAMILTON, of Kentville, N.S., became the wife of William Maurice CUTHBERT, of Winnipeg. Rev. W.F. CANN performed the ceremony. In the evening the wedding party were entertained at dinner in Mr. CUTHBERT'S new home on Gallagher avenue. Many beautiful presents attest the popularity of the bride, who was one of the most successful teachers on the Kentville academy staff, and the happy couple are attended by the hearty good wishes of their numerous friends.
