Bedford, June 19 – Yesterday June 18 at 8 a.m. Mass in St. Ignatius Church, Miss Mary Ann Mahoney and Edward Shippien were united in marriage by Rev. J.J. Lanigan.
The bride gowned in white sheer, street length, with white hat and corsage of red roses was attended by her sister, Miss Nora Mahoney in pink with pink roses. Gerald Power was best man.
The church choir was in attendance and the bride was given away by her father.
The couple will reside in Bedford and have taken the house owned by Mrs. Arthur Taylor.
Last evening at 8 o’clock a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Mahoney.
