I transcribed the following from 1854 newspaper.
On Tuesday morning, 28th November, at 1 o'clock, in the 28th year of his age, Robert James, oldest son of the late William Dillion.
On the 24th November, Mrs. Sarah Elexon, aged 65 years.
On Tuesday evening, Eliza Silvera, second daughter of Mr. Charles B. Naylor, in the 15th year of her age.
On Tuesday evening, 28th November, after a severe illness. John Loughnan, aged 5 years and 3 months, eldest son of Capt. James Affleck.
On Thursday evening, after a short illness, John Duggan, aged 14 years. His funeral will take place To-morrow, Sunday, at 3 o'clock, from his late residence, Duke Street.
At Lawrencetown, Halifax, on Sabbath morning, the 12th ult. Mary Elizabeth, wife of Mr. George Leslie, Deacon of the Free Church, in the 40th year of her age.
At Montreal, on the 27th Nov., John M. Tobin, Esq. in the 46th year of his age, second son of the late Hon. Michael Tobin, of this city.
At Yarmouth, on the 29th October, Mr. Robert Robertson, aged 104 years and 5 months. Mr. R. was a solider under General Burgoyne in the American Revolutionary war, and has resided in the above place since the close of the war. He carried with him to his grave scars on his head, breast, and hands form sword wounds received in different battles, and also a musket ball in his leg. He leaves three surviving sons and a daughter.
At Mayaguana on the 7th of last August, John Hawbolt aged 24, a native of Mary Joseph, N.S.
At Stoke, England, 31st ult. Retired Commander Daniel Little Couch, aged 75. - This officer entered the Navy 17th Feb. 1789, as first class boy, on board the Adamant, 50, Flag ship of Sir Richard Hughes, at Halifax where he remained until 179X. Having passed his examination in 1797, he was promoted to a Lieutenantcy, while subsequently serving in the West Indies in the Volage frigate. Capt. Hon. Philip Wodehouse. He became a retired Commander 26th Nov. 1830.
