Classification: Query
Surnames: Beaton, Campbell, McInnis
I have two in my families who married McInnis of Skye Glen.
I don't have their parents or siblings however.

A g-g grand uncle, John "Big John" Beaton, b. 1833 Skye Glen, married Jessie McInnis, b. 15 Oct 1847, Skye Glen.
They were married 1 April 1859 at Whycocomagh, and had 8 children: Effie b. 1860; Margaret b. 1862; Ann b. 1865; Donald & Malcolm (twins) b. 20 Feb 1866; John b. 15 Aug 1869; William b. 26 Feb 1872; and Alexander b. 23 Sep 1874--as far as I know all born in Skye Glen

Another g-g grand uncle, Randald Campbell, b. 1831, Scotland, married Flora McInnis on 30 Mar 1864 at Mabou.
She born 17 Mar 1842, Skye Glen. Ranald Campbell's family farmed on the east side of Skye Glen River, and the McInnis' farmed across the river and a bit west. I have some land grant maps of that area with names and dates.

I'll be back in N.S. in June, 2007, to finish up my family history book. Can meet with you, or send what info I have if you email me.
Aloha, Hugh Campbell Beaton, Honolulu
