Hi Folks
I found out who the man is sitting in the chair in the first photo for anyone who is interested. It is my great grandfather John Pearl b.ca 1833,Black Rock,Kings County. He is wearing a Salvation Army Uniform. I do not have any idea when it was taken but the photo is the tin type. My great grandmother, his wife, was Julia Letitia Young that is why I thought it was a picture of one of the Youngs:)
