Died about 1982:
"W. Gerald Sadler TANTALLON - W. Gerald Sadler, 84, of Tantallon, died Friday in Camp Hill Hospital.
Born in Hackett's Cove, he was a son of the late George and Nettie (Corkum) Sadler.
He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Royal Canadian Artillery in Belgium and France.
He is survived by his wife, the former Myrtle Boutilier, and two sisters, Marie, Halifax, and Mrs Ruby Pace, Sanbourneville, N.H.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Buy, Warren and Herbert; two sisters, Nora and Bertha.
The body is in J. Albert Walker Funeral H0ome, Seabright. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Mondy in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Hackett's Cove, Rev. Lloyd Ripley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery."
Died 10/10/1985:
"Frank W. Corkum HAMBURG, N.J. - Frank Wallace Corkum, 76, of HAMBURG, formerly of Chester, died here Thursday.
Born in chester, he was a son of the late James and Helinda (Baker) Corkum.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, a son, Frank, Warrick, N.J.; a daughter, Linda, Hamburg; a brother, Herman Leslie, Chester; two grandchildren.
Funeral will be held today in New Jersey."
Died 9/5/1986:
"Marie Elizabeth Saddler, 102 dies in Halifax - Marie Elizabeth Saddler, 102, of 2615 Northwood Terrace, and formerly of Glen Margaret, died Friday at Camp Hill Hospital.
Born in Indian Harbour she was a daughter of the late George and E. Trineta (Corkum) Saddler.
She was a registered nurse in the Boston area for 48 years.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruby Pace, New Hampshire; many nieces and hephews.
She was prececeased by two sisters, Nora Mae and Ella Bertha, and four brothers, Vincent Guy, Gerald, Warren, and Herbert.
The body will be in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Seabright, after 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral will be held Monday in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Hackett's Cove.
In liew of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Rainbow Haven."

"The family of the late Maizie and Grant Coolen of Fox Point, Lunenburg County, will hold a family reunion July 6 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John MacDonald, 37 Farquharson Street, Dartmouth. The four sisters and one brother, from left, Hildred McGovern, Dartmouth, Phyllis Linton, Gardena, Calif., Medford Coolen, Springfield, Annapolis County, Olive Longholm, Willow Creek, Calif. and Leta Corkum, Dartmouth, will be together for three weeks, for the first time in 56 years, visiting friends and relatives around the province.
