I do have a corkum somewhere in my research... as for Malinda Baker...I cannot find any mention of her as yet in my family line. I will keep this connection in mind as I continue adding to my family tree. Thanks.
My grandmother Iona Mae Wilson was the daughter of Rufus Wilson & Jennie Langille. Iona had married Randel Baker. Randel's mother was Effie Maud Baker of Tancook Island and we believe Randel was an illegitimate child because Effie was not married until years after Randel's birth. This mystery about my grandfather Randel Baker started me on my research. All my mother's siblings were born on Big Tancook Island. Thanks again.
