I'd like to correspond to with anyone searching the Munro family as mentioned below, or the related MacKays and MacLeans. According to the Pioneers and Churches book by Rev. D.K. Ross, Henry Munro(e) was "born in Scotland in 1754, came to Windsor, NS, lived in Halifax until 1785, when he moved to the Munro farm, Hopewell, on the East side of the West Branch [of the East River, Pictou Co.]."
Henry's son Donald Munro, who acquired land in the Eureka area married a Mary MacLean. Donald's son Hector married a Elizabeth Ann MacKay.
Again, I'd love to hear from anyone with a connection.
Thanks,
Andrew Munro Austin
