Hi!

My grt grandmother was Mary Ann MacRae married first to
a Sutherland then next to Jacob Isaksen. Mary Ann's mother
was Flora MacRae (nee: MacLean). I believe tha Mary Ann
was born March 5, 1865 and her mother Flora born Feb. 1837
Mary Ann's brother was John McRae born July 1866 (he married
his wife Kate before 1908 - their daughter Dolena was born
Oct. 1909. My mother was Eileen MacDonald d/o Vincent
Joseph MacDonald (s/o Duncan & Elizabeth)& Anda Josephine
Isaksen d/o Jacob Isaksen & Mary Ann MacRae. It's been a
while but I have more concise data stored away at this time.
The information that you've listed certainly seemed to
indicate a great possibility that the Flora mentioned may
well be my gg grandmother and I was wondering if your family Bible(s) may have included any of these persons.
My mother was also connected to the Northover's. I believe
that one fellow "her Uncle" was Dan Northover b. 1898

Note: Mary Ann & Jacob Isaksen are listed on the 1901 Census
@ River Bourgeois, Richmond, NS

and: Flora McRae is listed on the 1911 Census
@ Fresh Bay, NS (She is living with her son John &
family as well as Dan Northover)
*When I saw Dan's name, I knew that
these were my folks.

If any of this rings a bell, I'd love to learn more about
the family. Thankyou for your time.
Colleen
