Wondered about an Effie MacRITCHIE I found in 1901 Census who was born May 1813 in Scotland ... she was with her son Malcolm and living in North River at that time.
I appreciate all that you are able to share. Do you have any idea what area of Scotland they were born in?
On their son Norman's death registration, his son Murdoch A stated that Norman's parents were both born in Victoria county but considering their approx. ages, I wondered if this might have been a mistake.
