Surnames: McLeod, McNicoll, McGregor, McKenzie
Seeking information on my ancestors. Murdoch Mcleod b. Sutherlandshire m. Effy McNicoll 2 Feb 1801 at Assynt and were my g-g-grandparents . I am uncertain how many children they had but know- Son George b.1818 m. Anne Mcgregor sailed to New Zealand on barque Margaret 1851. Son Angus b.23 Mar 1819 m. Annebelle McKenzie (my g-grandparents) and had 4 children John "Cricket"(my grandfather) , Murdoch, Annie and Emma. Capt. Angus died on his vessel while in Newfoundland and was was placed in salt and brought back to C.B. Angus and Annabelle are buried at Man-o-war point cemetery on Boulardrie Island.
