Re: Micks of Echo Bay
I'm trying to trace Adam Clement Mick, born in Ottawa or area about 1850 to Adam and Phoebe Mick. 1881 Census has an Adam Mick of the correct age in Lambton County. In 1887 I know he married Margaret Christian in Oil City, Middlesex County. Matgaret remains in that area (with son William) until at least 1901, but Adam disappears from records until the 1911 Census, when the family (Adam, Margaret and 2nd son Frederick James) is shown living in Algoma East. I know William lived in the Espanola/Massey area as a child. Adam Mick died in 1913 and is buried in Grandview Cemetery, Massey (Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers).
I have found 2 sets of Adam & Phoebe Mick but can't definitely tie either to this Adam.
I'd appreciate any information linking these people.
Thanks.
