And where did they come from?

I am from line 44 Edna B Gamble 4 generations down. I would like to follow the rest of the lines too.

I wonder on a note of observation if the M in each of these names could be significant with Matilda I seem to see allot of Matilda in the weddings pages. See as follows. If so what is Matilda? Is it a place? Or is it a significant person in the history of this line?
