Hi:
I am looking for information about a man named S.L. Penhorwood who was living in Sault Ste Mariee in May of 1908. He was the manager of the New Ontario Dock and Coal Company. His wife's maiden name was Anne, Margaret or Jane McLeod. These women and their brothers, Bernard and Donald were the children of Jane and Angus McLeod. Angus, born in 1833 in Cromarty, Scotland was employed by the Hudson Bay Company and died in Waswanipi, Quebec in 1870. I don't know Jane's maiden name but do know she was born in Donegal, Ireland and was an Anglican. She died in Sault Ste Mariee on May 24, 1908. How she made her way with the five children to Sault Ste Mariee, I don't know.
