My great grandfather John F. was born 1846, place Canada Eng. Father's birth place Ireland, mother, England. Immigrated 1860 to ME. 1900 census lived Anson town, Somerset, ME. Second marriage to a Flora Elwood. First wife named Mary, believed to have died. John had Maria age 18, Ernest age 16 and Nellie age 12 with first wife Mary. Nellie married Herbert Greene in 1911 and had 3 children. She died at around the age of 30. Maybe there is a connection here.
