Hi, Iam looking for my Great grandfather, and his family. I never new him as my grandmother never new him.
My great Grandmother was married to him and left just beofre the baby was born (reasons Unknown) My great Grandmother died beofre my grandmother was a year old. Her natural father wanted her sent by train down to Edmonton albeta. but her Aunt (Her mothers sister) Wouldnt allow it. I am also looking for a picture of him, if any are around as well.

Died: Unknown

in 1915 was living at 1249 Ottawa Ave Edmonton Alberta Which in 1919 changed to 10733 93w St, ( Both are same place) Lived with Parents. October 26, 1915 He signed up and Joined the Army, was a Privite in the 49th Batt Canadian Infantry, # 101432. His Occupation was a Farmer.

Samuel was married twice:
1st wife was : Julie Ann Keeler
he had two children to her
1) William John Carmichael
2) Annie Carmichael
(both born in Ontario Canada)
Then Samuel married Jennet Jennie Grey McNilage
They had 6 children that I know of:
1) James William (Jim) Carmichael
2) Henry Edward Carmichael
3) Johney Carmichael (My Great Grandfather)
4) Arthur Lorne Carmichael
5) Andrew Ward Beecher Carmichael
6) Fanny Treatta Carmichael
( all also born in Ontario Canada)
