I am researching a peripheral line of my husband's. William Sweetman and Ann Vincent married at Scugog Island, Durham Cty. before 1844. They had 8 children. Their son Frederick married Mary Elizabeth Parcells in Sept 1875 in Gosfield Twp. Essex Cty. In Dec 1883, Frederick Sweetman married for his second wife Mary Jane Lowe. Frederick's sister Caroline Sweetman married Joseph Williamson in 1885 also in Gosfield Twp.and his brother Michael married Elizabeth Ann Elford in Gosfield in June 1884.
In the 1881 Gosfield Census I found William Sweetman's two brothers, Edward and Nicholas , as well as William and Ann with their 3 youngest children.
I would like to contact anyone researching any of the descendents of William and Ann Sweetman in order to share information. Ann Vincent Sweetman was a niece of my husband's 3X great grandmother Sarah Vincent Burr.
