Hi all, I'm currently trying to trace my father's side of the family. He was born in Windsor Ontario Canada but his birth father gave him and his brother up for adoption in March of 1950. I found his immigration crossing here on this site and it shows his birth father signed the document as John Jones from Cottam, Ont. My father lost his birth certificate that his adopted mother gave him in 1963 so all I know is what he's told me. Father John Jones mother Lila Jones and brother and sister Jack Jones and also Lila Jones. From what's he's told me his mother passed away during child birth with his younger brother, and his older sister Lila committed suicide. I've searched for marriage, birth and death records but no matches came up. I'm new at this so I'm kind of at a loss as to how else to search. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
