He had a short first marriage to Muriel Doerr and one son. I could not find a marriage for them in Detroit, Mi records at the Salt Lake City Family History Center microfich last July 2012.

Was the marriage in Windsor, Canada? There was an engagement announcement in the St. Thomas Ontario Journal for 11 Aug 1923. I cannot get a copy of it to confirm parents. He never told his 2nd wife of the prior marriage or son. Perhaps he remarried before 1928 to second wife???
