My Boice ancestors originally were Bice and they were in the Haliburton are in the 1850's on up. If there is a connection, then you may be interested in a book written by Ralph Bice called "Along the Trail with Ralph Bice in Algonquin Park". That's where his grandfather and my greatgrandfather trapped/hunted and guided for many years. His Grandfather was Simon Bice and there is a Samuel to I believe. Also if you do a "google" search and print Ralph Bice...there are interesting tidbits from the "good ole days" Let me know if anyone is interested in the book and I will let you know where to get a copy.
