Hello, Chris. Are you still trying to find the obituaries for John Robert McDade and wife Mildred? I was in the Orillia library and found the short article about the accident (truck/car crash). If you want the text of that writeup, let me know and I'll type it into a message. The couple was from Toronto. Through a couple of libraries I have online access to Toronto Star's "Pages of the Past" to which another poster referred you. I looked in the obituaries for them in "Toronto Star" for a few days after the accident, but could not find any. Through another library I have access to online "Toronto Globe & Mail". I found their obituaries in that newspaper, issue of April 12th. The accident had happened on Sunday afternoon April 9th, 1978. If you have not already received their obituaries, let me know and I'll type them in for you.

For a bit of quick information, 1 daughter is listed for the couple, in Plaster Rock, NB. For Mildred, her brothers & a sister are listed, as well as her mother. Most of them were in NB, 1 in North Bay, and 1 in Kingston. The couple was buried in St. Michael's Cemetery (Catholic), Orillia.
