I am tracking down information on several scottish families who came down from Canada in the late 1800's/early 1900's and settled in Marshall County on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota north of Grand Forks.
The family story of their religious affiliation is that they did not worship in church buildings. They worshipped in each other's homes, and they called themselves "The Truth".
Anyone know anything about this?
