Looking for death info for Jonathan Harris, born about 1847 in Town of Richland, Oswego County, NY. He supposedly died at the age of 24 or 25 of illness after serving in the Civil War with his brother, Jason, who was killed.
He was the son of William and nancy Harris of Richland and then Sandy Creek, OSwego Co. NY.
I am researching whether he was the first husband of my GG grandmother, Eliza Jane Bentley, also of Richland.
