I am in search of James Pattons family. He would be my gggrandfather. The search would be for his siblings & parents.
He was born in Ireland and married Margaret W. Wallace b1831, Scotland. They lived in Ontario Canada. Their children were Sarah, Jannet, Jane, Elizabeth, Sohia, Lillie, William. Sophie married a Durst. She wrote a poetry book. Her authored name was Sophie Patton Durst. I remember the book from my grandmothers library. Another daughter of James Patton was Sarah. She married William John Paisley.
