Are you still looking for Glenmorrison? Alexander MacDonald is also my ancestor and I have been hunting him too. In answer to Glenmorrison, it is what they used to call the valley that runs between Loch Cluanie and Loch Ness in Northern Scotland. The A87 roadway runs through it. Alexander was likely born in a farmhouse in one of the croft farms.
