Thanks for correcting my misunderstanding about the names. I think that my reticence about More being in the family could perhaps be set aside with the resolution of another "naming" confusion. I know my family moved to Harrington, Argenteuil and that my Roderick and his son Donald came from Ontario. So I'm trying to connect them up with their Ontario roots.
In the 1852 census of Harrington, there was: Roderick (50) and Agness (49) and their children. It has been suggested to me that Agness is also a version of Ann. The apparent children on the list were: Isabella (29), Donald (23), John (20), Mary (16), Ann (14), William (12), Sarah (10), and Catherine (7). So you can see the likely connections.
One question is whether Isabella and More could be the same person? The dates are a little off but, not far off. Another question is why is John not on the list of baptisms as he was born between Donald and Mary who are?
Thanks for helping me work through all this.
