Thanks for the offer. I have the McNiff list of 1786 lots if that's what you mean.

My Grants were on the 1874 map in SSR 2, lot 15 (John J. Grant). Other Grants adjoin in lots 16-19, and the census notes that they are original settlers.

I can trace them back to Alexander Grant and wife, Anne, in a 1799 baptism, but there were two Alex Grants with wives named Anne at that time, so that's where I'm stuck.
