Thanks for that quote. At one time all the St.Andrews stones were online, but I think Alex Fraser was the owner of that web page and took them down when he was writing the book. I didn't have that one noted because, at the time, I didn't know enough about James R's ancestry to recognize its importance.

Did you ever find Alex's will? I suspect that for some reason James wasn't mentioned in it. Otherwise you'd have known of James as a son.

And do you have a listing of John Dundreggan's 17 children? I found a list online of the early settlers and he is listed as coming from Scotland with 8 children, but no wife or other adult female. (Children not named).
