Hi all! What I meant in my private email to you was that William Kennedy was in the list of signatories of that grant not that he acquired it so like this other guy you cite, he was a simple farmer. But it is exactly the same guy as in Boston who published his intention to marry Mary Butler on Dec.7, 1762. He did not marry her then but they were married later (where?) and eventually had a property on Sir John Johnston's land and finally moved to Douglastown on the Gaspé. I have lots of information for them as soon they became tenants of the Johnson's on Kingsborough Patent. I am mostly looking to find their whereabouts between Boston in 1762 and K. Patent in 1778. Thanks anyhow. By the way the William Kennedy in N.B. is a different man. John
