I can't believe that I haven't read your reply to my post that was dated 2001 !!! All I can tell you is I do know there was a Rachel who married a John Miller back in the late 1840's-1850's. The John Miller I am connected with married a Catherine Fulsom in the 1830's. Catherine died in 1846 from childbirth. My gr.grandmother was b. 1841 and her name was Rachel Miller from the first marriage. It is believed John's second wife's name was Rachel also. I have been told that John Miller was of German descent.
