Surnames: Bailey, Baillie, Johnstone, Hogan, Hagan, Roulston, McKeen, Meehan, Ingham
James Bailey b. c1792 Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland; m. c1812 Eliza Johnstone (b. c1795 near Carrickfergus); rem. to Springvale, Walpole, Haldimand Co, Ont 1847; he possibly died in 1862 and she in 1864. James and Eliza (Johnstone) Bailey had 13 children, all came to Springvale in 1847.
1. Eliza Bailey b c 1814; m. "Mr Hagan" in Ireland 1847 (Family History = FH)
2. William Bailey b c1815; m.---- (possibly the Wm Bailey who m. Rebecca Dennison 8 Jan 1858?)
3. Susan Bailey, b c1817 m. Robert or David Roulston? FH says she married Robert but the Haldimand county vital records (VR) have David Roulston m. 17 Dec 1849.
4. Mary Bailey, b c1819; FH says she m. "Mr Tarem". the county VR show Mary Bailey m. Isaac Lamb 13 Sept 1851.
5. Isabella Bailey, b c1819 (Twin); m. "Mr Slack"; d. 1891 bur Springvale Cem. (FH)
6. Ann Bailey, b c1821; m. 14 Mar 1854 James McKeen (FH & VRs)
7. Robert James Bailey, b c1823; m1. c1857 Margaret (she died in childbirth, 1858 bur. Springvale Cem. (FH)); m2. c1859 Elizabeth (Betsy) White; removed to Kincardin, near Ripley, Bruce Co, Ont. (FH). Eldest son, James Bailey (of Margaret) removed to Chilliwack, BC c1878 (my great grandfather).

11. Hannah Bailey, b c1830; FH says she m. "Mr Hagan" but, the VR shows m. 6 Sept 1856 William Hogan.
12. Jane Bailey, b c1834; m. "Mr Ingham"; d 1885, bur. Springvale Cem (FH).
13. John Bailey, b c 1836; d. 1921.
There were probably other families who came from Carrickfergus together with the Baileys but, they have not yet been identified. I would like to find out if there are cemetery inscriptions for Springvale because several of this family are said to be buried there. Also, we'd like to correspond with anyone related to this family.
