Hi Thomas, I haven't found anything new on this Ester (Carter) Sotheran. As originally mentioned, I believe she is the d/o Elizabeth Bell and John Carter, but only because there is an E Suthren listed as a beneficiary (niece) of Lieut-Col John Bell in his 1835 will administration.
